Los Angeles: So, LeBron just did something pretty amazing. He hit a fadeaway jumper to score his 30th point against the Atlanta Hawks. This shot made him the all-time leader in 30+ point games, surpassing Michael Jordan. Can you believe it? He now has 563 of those games!
LeBron was super pumped about it. He even mentioned how Jordan was known for that left shoulder fadeaway. LeBron said he tries to do his own version, but it’s all about mastering the craft. He’s been watching MJ and learning from him over the years.
His teammates are used to these record-breaking moments now. Anthony Davis even joked about it, saying it took LeBron seven more seasons to get there. Classic banter, right?
The Lakers are on fire lately, winning 7 out of their last 9 games. They took down the Hawks pretty easily, 119-102. LeBron is really setting the tone for the team.
After the game, he reflected on breaking the record. He said it’s humbling to be mentioned alongside someone he idolized as a kid. Wearing number 23 because of MJ makes it even more special for him. What a night for LeBron and the Lakers!
