Bridgnorth: Recently, some pretty disturbing graffiti showed up around town. It all kicked off on January 9, when folks spotted some racist symbols on Inage Lane.
White spray paint was used to scrawl an offensive symbol right on the footpath leading to the town center. Then, the next day, more racist messages popped up in St Leonards Close.
This time, someone used white paint to write a nasty message on a stone wall. The police have been getting more reports about graffiti showing up in alleyways, footpaths, and even under bridges.
Sergeant Steve Mason from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team said they’re really eager to catch whoever is behind this graffiti. It’s causing a lot of stress in the community.
He mentioned that officers will be out on high visibility patrols in those areas. They’re encouraging anyone with concerns to reach out. Plus, they want to hear from anyone who might have info that could help with the investigation.
