Houston: So, there was this wild brawl during the game between the Rockets and the Heat. It all kicked off when Amen Thompson and Tyler Herro got into it. You know how it goes—things escalated quickly.
It was a close game, and with just 35 seconds left, Thompson got in Herro’s face and yanked his jersey. Next thing you know, players from both teams were throwing punches. It was a total mess!
After the dust settled, the NBA decided to hand out some serious punishments. Thompson got a two-game suspension, while Rozier will sit out one game. Jalen Green and Tyler Herro were fined, too, along with Rockets coach Ime Udoka, who got hit with a hefty fine for yelling at the refs.
It’s a shame because the Heat managed to win 104-100, but the brawl overshadowed the game. Now, Thompson will miss the next two games against the Mavericks and Celtics, and Rozier will be out for the Heat’s game against the Pelicans.
It’s just one of those things that happens in sports, but man, it sure was a sight to see!
