Aberdeen: The twins, Eliza and Henrietta, originally from Hungary, went missing last week. Their family is understandably worried sick about them.

So, what do we know so far? They were last spotted on CCTV around 2:12 AM on January 7, and it’s been seven days since anyone has seen them.

They were last seen on Market Street, crossing Victoria Bridge, and then headed towards a footpath by the River Dee. After that, they just vanished.

As for any foul play, the police have said they’re not treating this as a criminal case. They haven’t found any evidence suggesting a third party was involved.

One theory is that the twins might have accidentally entered the river, which is why search efforts are focused there. It’s a bit concerning, to say the least.

Recently, the police shared that the twins’ behavior that morning was unusual. They seemed to have taken a direct route to the river before disappearing from the cameras.

Interestingly, there were no signs of mental health issues or anything that could explain their disappearance. They were also reportedly planning to move out of their flat.

Superintendent David Howieson mentioned they’re keeping an open mind about the situation. He noted that the sisters’ actions that morning were out of character, and they’re not ruling out any possibilities.

He also said they’re focusing on the river because there’s no evidence that the twins left the area. It’s been a week, and they’re still searching hard.

The family has expressed how distressing this time has been for them. They just want Eliza and Henrietta to come home. They’re asking anyone with information to reach out to the police.

On Tuesday, police conducted a search operation in the area where the twins went missing. They’ve been talking to people nearby to gather more information.

With the help of a police helicopter, dogs, and divers, they’re doing everything they can to find the twins. The focus remains on the River Dee, as there’s no sign they left the area.

Both sisters are described as white, slim, and have long brown hair. They’re part of a set of triplets and have ties to Hungary. Police in Hungary are also involved, working with the family.
