London: This week, all Southeastern trains are getting a shake-up. Engineering work is causing major disruptions, and many trains will be cancelled or diverted. If you’re planning to travel, you’ll want to pay attention.

The work starts today and runs through Friday. It’s happening overnight at various spots on the Southeastern network, which means some lines will be closed.

From now until Friday, some trains to and from London Victoria will be running a bit later than usual. Expect delays of up to 15 minutes on certain journeys. Late-night trains from London to Canterbury West and Dover Priory will also be diverted, making extra stops along the way.

Replacement buses are stepping in to help. They’ll run between Tonbridge and Dover Priory, and there’s another bus connecting Ashford and Canterbury West. If you’re heading to Sevenoaks or Tonbridge, you’ll need to catch alternative trains.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the 12.26am train from London Cannon Street to Dartford will only go as far as London Bridge, with a bus taking over the rest of the route. Wednesday night, the 11.07pm train to Ramsgate will also be running later than usual.

Thursday brings even more changes, with several trains being replaced by buses. So, if you’re traveling late in the week, double-check your schedule to avoid surprises.

Overall, it’s a good idea to plan ahead and stay updated on the latest travel info. Safe travels!
