Las Vegas: So, Aidan O’Connell, the Raiders quarterback, had a rough day on the field. He got carted off with an air cast on his left leg after a nasty hit from Calijah Kancey during the game against the Bucs.

It all went down late in the third quarter when the Bucs were leading 14-10. This was only O’Connell’s second game back after missing four weeks due to a broken thumb. Talk about bad luck!

The hit happened right after he threw a pass and was heading out of bounds. Kancey gave him a shove in the back, and it looked pretty brutal. Everyone was on edge as O’Connell hit the ground hard and clearly needed help.

Medical staff rushed in, and they quickly put an air cast on his leg before taking him off the field. The Raiders announced he was out with a knee injury, but we’re still waiting to hear how serious it is.

What’s wild is that the refs didn’t call roughing the passer on that play, even though it seemed pretty obvious. It wouldn’t be shocking if the NFL takes another look at it this week. Fans are definitely hoping for the best for O’Connell.
