Agri-Tech Expo North to be held in Harrogate next month

Harrogate: Agri-Tech Expo North is happening at the Great Yorkshire Showground on February 25. This event is a great opportunity for farmers and land managers. They can learn about technology that helps tackle industry challenges, like achieving net zero carbon.

Attendees will see demonstrations of the latest robotics and research from universities. There will also be updates on farm management software. The event is organized by Agri-Sense, a group led by Yorkshire farmer Davina Fillingham.

One highlight will be the SKAi spot spraying system. Ms. Fillingham mentioned that they want to encourage discussions on how farmers can use technology effectively. She hopes visitors will network and find solutions that fit their needs.

The Expo follows demonstration days in November, showcasing drone technology and an AI-guided weed sprayer. Dr. Dave George from the Farmer Scientist Network said this event is perfect for anyone interested in agriculture.
