Montréal: Young patients at the Montréal Children’s Hospital got a surprise they won’t forget. Members of the Montréal Police Tactical Intervention Group (TIG) showed up dressed as superheroes, rappelling down the hospital’s side. It was a thrilling sight!

The fun kicked off with an agent dressed as Spider-Man, who swung down headfirst. The kids, parents, and nurses were all buzzing with excitement. It was a real treat, according to a statement from the Montréal Police.

“This is so different from our usual work. It helps us connect with kids and the community, which is super important,” said Sébastien Chartier, the Tactical Unit Commander, in an interview.

As the superheroes performed stunts, Deadpool made a dramatic entrance, adding to the fun. But then, a third agent in GTI gear had to step in to help them make peace. It was all in good fun!

After weeks of training, the agents put on a fantastic show that lit up the faces of the young patients. Once they were back on solid ground, they teamed up with the SPVM mascot, Flik, to hand out stuffed animals to the kids.

People on social media loved the heartwarming gesture. Comments poured in, with one user saying, “Such a beautiful act of kindness, thank you!”

Another user chimed in, “This is the kind of police we need! The most beautiful thing I’ve seen today! ❤️”

It’s clear that this superhero visit made a big impact on everyone involved!
