His family shared how he left home, which was just a couple of minutes away, to grab that ticket. Sadly, he passed away a week later after being taken off a ventilator.

They described him as adventurous and full of life, always making great memories with his grandkids in Wales. His family is heartbroken, saying they can’t believe they won’t see him again.
