Acocks Green Murder Probe – Man Found Injured Could Not Be Saved

A man in his 60s died after being found injured in Acocks Green, prompting a murder investigation and two arrests.

Birmingham: A man was found critically injured in a home. Sadly, he could not be saved. This happened over the weekend in Acocks Green.

Paramedics and police arrived at the house on Warwick Road around 3 PM on Saturday. They quickly began advanced life support for the man.

Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Two men, known to the victim, were arrested on suspicion of murder.

One of the suspects, a 44-year-old, is still in police custody. The other, a 62-year-old, has been released on bail.

West Midlands Ambulance Service reported they sent multiple emergency responders to the scene. Unfortunately, nothing could be done to save the man.

Police have launched a murder investigation. They are conducting door-to-door inquiries to gather more information.

CCTV and doorbell footage are also being reviewed. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
