Musselburgh, John Baillie, Disabled, Sticker, Health

Musselburgh: John Baillie, 71, went to Home Bargains with his son-in-law. It was his first outing after recovering from health issues.

When they returned, they found a sticker on their car. It read, “NOT DISABLED, JUST A ****.”

John’s daughter, Leanne Scott, was outraged when she heard. She said it was disgusting.

John had surgery in November after suffering multiple strokes. Leanne and her sister have cared for him for years.

John uses a wheelchair but chose to walk that day. He feels judged when using his wheelchair.

Leanne expressed her anger, saying it took weeks to encourage him to go out.

She mentioned that her brother-in-law drove the car and displayed the disabled badge clearly.

Leanne plans to report the incident to Police Scotland.
