Porthcawl: So, guess what? A signed script from the Gavin & Stacey finale just sold for over £50,000! Can you believe it? It was part of a charity raffle, and fans were all over it.

Robert Wilfort, who played Jason, donated the script. He thought it would be a cool way to help out a local charity he loves. He said it was a unique piece of memorabilia that fans would cherish.

He mentioned how popular the show is and figured it was a great chance to do something good. The winning ticket was drawn on January 13, and all the money went to The Theatre Shed, which helps kids with and without disabilities get involved in the arts.

Alice Connor, the artistic director, shared how important this money is for them since they don’t get any government funding. They had over 4,500 people buy tickets for just £5 each. That’s pretty impressive!

And let’s not forget, over 12 million people watched the finale on Christmas Day! It was the last episode after 17 years, bringing back all those beloved characters for one last hurrah. What a way to wrap it up!
