A fatal collision in Surrey on Christmas Day killed one woman: police

Surrey: On Christmas Day, a serious collision happened at an intersection in Surrey, B.C. It involved two vehicles and sadly resulted in the death of a passenger.

The Surrey Police Service reported that officers arrived at the scene near Highway 15 and Highway 10 just before noon. They found a woman who had passed away, despite efforts to save her.

The driver of the vehicle that collided with another car stayed at the scene and is working with the police. Right now, the investigation is still in the early stages, so they’re not sure what caused the crash.

Drivers are being advised to find alternate routes since there are several road closures around that intersection. It looks like the closures will be in effect for most of the afternoon.
