Philadelphia: So, the other night, Joel Embiid really lost his cool during a game against the Spurs. He crashed into Victor Wembanyama, and things got wild.
It all went down in the second quarter at the Wells Fargo Center. Embiid drove hard at Wembanyama, but the Spurs rookie drew a charge. Embiid was furious about the call.
He jumped up and started yelling at the ref, which got him a technical foul right away. But he didn’t stop there. He kept going and ended up with a second tech, leading to his ejection. His teammates had to hold him back from going after the officials!
In the end, Embiid scored just nine points and grabbed three rebounds in 14 minutes. He shot poorly, hitting only 2 of 8 attempts.
This was only his second game back after dealing with a sinus fracture. He’s had a rough season, missing time due to a knee injury and even a suspension for an incident with a reporter.
Meanwhile, Wembanyama had a solid game, too, with nine points and seven blocks by halftime. It was definitely a night to remember for both players!
