Leigh: It’s been 40 years since Lisa Hession was tragically murdered, and the police are still searching for answers. They’re offering a £50,000 reward for any info that could lead to her killer.

Lisa was just 14 when she was attacked while walking home from a party. She was found in an alleyway not far from her house. Her mom, Christine, reported her missing just after she was due home.

Despite advances in DNA technology, no one has been charged in this heartbreaking case. Christine passed away in 2016 without ever knowing who took her daughter’s life.

The Greater Manchester Police are urging anyone who might remember something from that night to come forward. Even the smallest detail could help crack this case wide open.

The head of the Cold Case Unit, Martin Bottomley, reassured the community that they’re committed to finding justice for Lisa. She was a bright young girl with so much potential, and it’s devastating that her life was cut short.

If you have any information, please reach out to the GMP Cold Case Unit or contact Crimestoppers anonymously. Every bit of help counts in bringing closure to Lisa’s family and friends.
