Basingstoke: So, there was a big drug bust recently. Police raided a place on Montserrat Road and ended up arresting five people. They found over 2,500 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and about £900 in cash. Crazy, right?
They didn’t stop there. Another property on Alders Close was searched, and they discovered an additional £3,800 in cash. It’s wild how much they uncovered in just one day.
Two of the arrested men, Nathan Mullings and Samuel Ball, are facing serious charges. They’re both set to appear in court soon. The other three, including a woman and two men, were also taken in but have been released while the investigation continues.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary mentioned that they’re looking into reports of Class A drug supply in the area. It sounds like they’re really cracking down on this issue.
It’s a reminder of how serious the drug problem can be, even in smaller towns. Let’s hope they get to the bottom of it and keep the community safe.
