San Francisco: The 49ers just made some big moves. They’ve put Jaylon Moore on injured reserve due to a quad injury. This means he won’t be playing in the last two games of the season.
Moore has had a decent run this year, playing in all 15 games and starting five. But now, his season is officially over.
To fill his spot, the team signed Charlie Heck to a one-year deal. Heck was on the Cardinals’ practice squad and has played in seven games this season.
Heck was drafted by the Texans in 2020 and spent four seasons there before being let go in August. The 49ers really need him now, especially since their offensive line has been struggling lately.
With Trent Williams and Aaron Banks also out for the last two games, the team is feeling the pressure. They’ll finish the season at home against the Lions and then hit the road to face the Cardinals.
It’s going to be an interesting end to the season for the 49ers!
