Santa Clara: So, the 49ers are dealing with some injury woes ahead of their game against the Dolphins. Rookie Isaac Guerendo missed practice again due to a hamstring issue, which isn’t great news for the team. They’re already missing Christian McCaffrey and a couple of other running backs, so it’s getting a bit thin in that department.

If Guerendo can’t go, it looks like Patrick Taylor will step up as the starter. Behind him, they’ve got Ke’Shawn Vaughn and Israel Abanikanda ready to jump in if needed. It’s a bit of a scramble, but coach Kyle Shanahan is used to mixing things up. He’s had a different leading rusher in each of his first six seasons, so this isn’t totally new territory for him.

On top of that, Trent Williams is still out with an ankle injury, which means Jaylon Moore will likely start at left tackle again. Nick Bosa’s status is also up in the air after he sat out practice on Thursday. He was limited on Wednesday, so fingers crossed he can bounce back.

Meanwhile, safety Malik Mustapha is making progress from his chest injury. He was seen having some fun with the defensive backs during practice, which is a good sign. It’s always nice to see players getting back into the groove.

So, it’s a bit of a mixed bag for the 49ers as they prepare for the Dolphins. Let’s hope they can pull it together and put on a good show this Sunday!
