New York: Happy holidays, everyone! The College Football Playoff is in full swing, and it’s bringing a bunch of top prospects into the spotlight. So, here’s our third mock draft for 2025, just in time for the festive season.
Nate Tice and Charles McDonald are back at it, with Nate picking the odd-numbered spots and Charles handling the even ones. The draft order is courtesy of Tankathon.
First up, the New York Giants are eyeing Cam Ward, a QB from Miami. He’s got the potential to bring some much-needed excitement to the position, which has been lacking in recent years. Sure, he has a few things to work on, but pairing him with the dynamic Malik Nabers could lead to some big plays.
Next, the New England Patriots are looking at Travis Hunter, a versatile player from Colorado. He’s arguably the best talent in this draft and could really help both their offense and defense. Imagine him as a shutdown corner alongside Christian Gonzalez!
Then we have the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are set to pick Will Campbell, an offensive tackle from LSU. This guy plays like a pro already, showing off great skills in both run and pass protection. He’s definitely a player who can elevate their offensive line.
The Tennessee Titans are in desperate need of a quarterback, but they might also grab Will Johnson, a cornerback from Michigan. He’s a solid choice to boost their defense.
Over in Cleveland, the Browns are eyeing Abdul Carter, an edge rusher from Penn State. He’s got a ton of upside and could be a game-changer when paired with Myles Garrett.
Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Raiders are looking at Shedeur Sanders, a QB from Colorado, to help fix their quarterback woes. They can’t afford to go into another season with Aidan O’Connell as their top option.
As for the Carolina Panthers, they’re considering Mykel Williams, an edge rusher from Georgia. He’s been ramping up his game and could be a great addition to their defense.
The New York Jets are set to pick Mason Graham, a defensive tackle from Michigan, to strengthen their interior line. They need some depth after a rough season.
And the Chicago Bears are eyeing Kelvin Banks Jr., an offensive lineman from Texas. He’s versatile and could really help their struggling offensive line.
Finally, the New Orleans Saints are looking at Malaki Starks, a safety from Georgia, to help shore up their defense as they continue to rebuild.
This mock draft is just a glimpse of what’s to come, and it’s exciting to see how these prospects will shape the future of the NFL!
