London: A year ago, a newborn baby was found abandoned, and now there’s a £20,000 reward for info on her parents. The little girl, named Elsa, was discovered by a dog walker in East Ham, wrapped in a towel inside a shopping bag.

Despite reviewing over 450 hours of CCTV footage, the police still haven’t identified her parents. They believe the mother might have been living in East London for the past six years. It’s a tough situation, and the police are really hoping someone in the community can help.

Elsa was just an hour old when she was found on January 18 last year. It turns out she has two siblings who were also abandoned in similar ways in 2017 and 2019. The police are working with Crimestoppers, who are offering the reward for any leads that could help solve this mystery.

Detective Inspector Jamie Humm mentioned that they’ve done a lot of work, including DNA tests, to find the parents. They’re worried about the mother’s wellbeing and are asking anyone who might have seen something to come forward.

It’s heartbreaking to think about. The three kids are doing well now, but the police want to ensure their parents are safe too. They’re urging anyone with even the smallest bit of information to reach out.

When Elsa was found, it was freezing outside, and it took doctors a while to get her temperature stable. She was named after the character from Frozen, which is kind of sweet given the circumstances.

As for her siblings, Harry and Roman were also found in similar situations. They’ve since been adopted, and thankfully, Elsa is thriving. The police are still on the case, so if you know anything, don’t hesitate to contact them or Crimestoppers.
